Andrew Ladd

Andrew Ladd, PhD, is a writer, poet, and children's author, living in Madison, Wi, with his wife Charlotte, and two children, Ruby and Owen...and their Welsh Corgi Pudge. Dr. Ladd is a former English professor, who retired to become a full-time author and father. His children's books are all tales that he told his children before bedtime as they were growing up, many of the stories stretching out over years at a time. His children now adults, he has begun the process of putting their shared journies into writing, some into prose, some into poetry. As wonderful, funny, and entertaining as are the books he's written thus far, so many more are on their way!

One of Dr. Ladd's great passions is cycling, and he is working on a book on the spirituality of the bike even as we speak. As with all his books, the inner light is a consistent theme. He feels that it is his job as a writer always to remind people of the greater spirit that resides in us all.
