G.A. Pickstock

I love adventure stories, and mysteries and thrillers top the list. I guess you could say my desire to write them came on the heels of my thirst for reading them.

I remember the adventures of the Hardy Boys, and how James Bond saved the world, over and over again, and how Robert A. Heinlein took us to the outer reaches of our solar system. I knew then that I had stories of my own bursting to be written.

I started out by writing for our local newspaper which eventually evolved into writing short stories. I wrote for that newspaper for a year. I still have some of the articles I wrote. Still, it wasn’t until I retired that writing became an obsession for me. Now I kick myself for not sticking to it when I was younger.

I have written two novels, Kill Her Twice and Edge of Death, plus several short stories, featured here on this website. I have two or three novels in the works and the third book in my River’s Edge Mysteries series will be out sometime in 2022.
