Mark Robbins

I've had years in the Navy and more years in Texas state government. I know things, some of them good. Broad life experiences, everything from a cowhand and lousy jackpot rodeo bull rider, to a hospital corpsman in a neurosurgical ICU at Bethesda NNMC, Medical Technologist (MT-ASCP) in microbiology, regular line Naval officer billeted as Main Propulsion Assistant on an FFG, to a screen writer, with more in between. Most of his time was spent in the computer field working as a programmer, system administrator, and eventually ending up at Kingsland Gardens as a professional weed picker in large ornamental gardens.

I try to improve the world by pointing to things that can be changed through systems analysis. If that doesn't work, I use true stories from my life as a skeleton on which to spin tales. Fiction hung around reality.
