Ama Birch

Ama Birch was born in New York City. She is the daughter of a poet, Esther Louise, and a visual artist, Willie Birch. She attended Elisabeth Irwin High School in New York City, SUNY-New Paltz, the International Teacher Training Organization, and the California Institute of the Arts. She has self-published four books, "Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow," "Faces in the Clouds," "Ferguson Interview Project," and "Sonnet Boom!" In addition, she has a video game for children and adults called, "Space Quake by Ama Birch."
