Alan Newland

Alan Newland has had a distinguished career as a teacher, teacher-educator and headteacher in London for over 20 years and then for a decade with the UK's Department for Education and the General Teaching Council for England.

He currently writes and lectures on teaching professionalism and ethics to hundreds of universities and teacher-training centres around the country. He has written extensively for Guardian Education and is a winner of the ‘European Digital PR Awards’ for his blog and social media network www.newteacherstalk.com
