Raised in a military family, I had the chance to live in and experience many places both in the U.S. and internationally. I honestly never spent much time reading or writing while growing up. Instead opting to spend my days skateboarding, swimming in the oceans, skiing, and snowboarding. Basically, if the sun was out, I was out of the house.

Following my Marine Corps enlistment I was lucky enough to meet my wife, Jenny, while attending college. After graduation, it was my desire to provide the best possible life for my family that led me to Kansas City.

This is where I met my best friend, John. We started writing together when John pitched me his idea for a web series. We would meet at the local brewery in the evening and hammer out pages of screenplay filled with our twisted sense of humor. It was during these early days of writing together that we developed a chemistry in our writing.

Fast forward 10 years and we have progressed to writing our first fiction novel, 'The Trials of Jack Kemper'. I hope you enjoy it and future novels to come!
