PRIYA YABALURI

They say 'A true artist is not the one who is inspired, but the one who inspires others.' Priya Yabaluri had a similar belief that's why she always tried to inspire and motivate people through her artwork.

Dr Priya Yabaluri is an eminent artist and talk of the town in the art world. Over the years, her artworks have gained popularity and respect and her paintings have been exhibited not only in India but overseas too. Along with being an artist, she is the founder of two art brands 'Art for Awareness', 'World Art Fair', under which she also organised First Woman’s Art Fair and has also published various art books and magazines.

She also arranges art events to display the work of both eminent and novice artists who have the potential to be on the top. For her excellent work in the industry, Priya has earned many National and Global awards in the year 2020-21. In 2021, she received the Excellence Award by the India Book of Records and the Emerging Entrepreneurs Award by Global Summit, Yashasvi Excellence Award for being a prominent Artist, and Start-Up Entrepreneur 2021.

Priya was also selected to represent India in the International GTA Global Talent Eminent Artist and Entrepreneur Award in Dubai. Recently, she was listed in Foxclues' India's Prime Top 100 Women Icon list.

Although reaching on the top wasn't a cakewalk she had her struggles. Since childhood, Priya loved art and craft .She holds a Doctorate in Fine Arts .

Her paintings and artworks were appreciated in many countries like the UK, Germany, St. Petersburg, Moscow, France, London, Paris, and Dubai. Till now, Priya has taken part in more than 35 groups and solo art shows in our country.

She didn't stop working in the pandemic too even when it was challenging to hold a physical event due to the contagious virus. Priya turned to virtual events and organized them. Her current event First Woman Art Fair that showcases the artwork of renowned female artists is running on the website. It is the first event in the world that only showcases female artists. Other than this, Priya is launching a Coffee Table Art Book very soon that also features artists from all over the world. For promoting art and motivating the spirit of artists, she was recognised and awarded for it.

These awards and recognitions are just tip of the iceberg because Priya believes that it is an artist's duty to spread awareness in society through her artwork. That is why Priya collaborated with United Nations UN75 to conduct awareness programs by organizing Art Exhibitions to cover social, ecological, global, and cultural issues.

She draws nature to tell people to preserve it. Her Sky Series speaks about the environment, surroundings and nature's beauty. The other picture reflects industrialization and how it is affecting our nature. Whereas, Priya's ocean series depicts the story of our mighty oceans and innocent creatures living in them. Priya made it to tell people that our nature is priceless and we should take strict actions to save it from the harmful human activities.

About her work Priya said 'I draw nature, oceans and environment in my pictures so people would understand their true value and adore their natural elegance. For me, the beauty of fish is calmness, a serenity in the ocean. I want to express why it is necessary to preserve marine animals and their lives through my work. We, humans, are becoming selfish and we are forgetting that other living things also have a right to live in this world. You cannot destroy them. Together, we need to save the environment to save humanity.'

She has been awarded “ Female entrepreneur of the year 2022” by Global Triumph Organization .
