J. Edward Conway

J. Edward Conway is a former targeting analyst for the US Department of Defense. He deployed twice to Iraq, first to Baghdad in 2007 as a member of the Iraq Threat Finance Cell, and then again in 2009 to Balad as the threat finance analyst for a Special Operations Joint Task Force. His opinions and analysis have been printed in forums such as The Wall Street Journal and Foreign Affairs, and his research published in various peer reviewed journals. He is the co-editor of a textbook for incoming intelligence analysts, Counterterrorism and Threat Finance Analysis During Wartime (2015).

Conway studied at Davidson College in North Carolina and the University of St Andrews in Scotland. He lives in Washington, DC and is currently the executive secretary for the Wolfsberg Group.
