M. Rain began suffering from vivid nightmares at a very young age. Instead of running away from the things that go bump in the night, she chose to dive headfirst into them. Her love of writing began when a doctor told her to journal her nightmares.

Rain wears many hats. Being a mom of four comes first. She's a therapist with a demanding career, helping court-ordered defendants in need of domestic violence, DUI, or substance-abuse therapy. Loving life, she's always looking for her next big adventure.

Late at night, when most people are dreaming, she's awake, doing her best to turn your sweet dreams into real nightmares. Rain loves exploring the darkest parts of the human mind, searching places many wouldn't dare go. She breathes life into the things many hate to love; placing them on pages, and into her stories.
