I am Constanza Chesnott, and I write love stories where the heart always defies fate.
Years ago, I traveled to Asia… and somehow, I never left. I found myself caught between cultures and landscapes that seem to whisper forgotten stories. Ever since, I have been chasing those echoes—of remote colonies, of distant worlds where lords and ladies lived bound by strict rules… and impossible passions.
I am drawn to the Regency and Victorian eras, not only for their elegance, but for everything hidden beneath the surface: restrained glances, forbidden choices, loves that dared to challenge entire empires. In my novels, I invite you to cross oceans and discover what life was truly like in the colonies, where duty and desire rarely walked hand in hand.
I often write from small hidden corners—I have a particular love for cafés—watching the world as if every story were waiting to be told. My books are filled with characters searching for their place in a world that often feels like it doesn't belong to them. My favorite novels, such as Persuasion by Jane Austen and North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell, taught me that the most powerful love is the one that endures time, distance, and pride.
I adore cats—I have eight!— they are the silent companions of many of my pages. And the ocean… the ocean always finds its way into my stories. Because water, when you listen closely, speaks of distant places, whispered promises, and secrets that never truly fade.
If you are drawn to intense love stories set in worlds that are both elegant and untamed, perhaps my novels will find a place in your heart.
