He is currently working on his second book, a book of modern rhymes which is due to launched in early 2022. The book is a collection of uniquely illustrated modern day nursery rhymes, think "Mother Goose" meets "Mother Earth". Dyker says that, "To market, to market to buy a fat pig…" does not resonate with contemporary children. The poems address issues and ideas from the silly to the profound.
Dyker (Origin-Irish family name) in addition to being a noted southern artist, is also an insurance executive. He grew up in a farm community outside Chicago and feels he is a prairie boy at heart. Dyker says he is an above average father to his three great kids and a below average singer/songwriter.
