Phil Adam

Phil Adam was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Upon graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Phil returned to his roots and for the next 31 years taught middle school in Ashwaubenon, a short walk from Lambeau Field. Phil's fun-yet-disciplined approach to teaching, commitment to his pupils' education, and his identification with the trials and tribulations of middle schoolers are on display throughout The Rules of Never.

In addition, Phil's book is sprinkled with personal references: Phil has whimsically named four characters after cherished family members: son Shane, daughter Nicole, grandson Caden, and granddaughter Clara.
