My grandfather was a carpenter, builder who emigrated

from London, England to Western Australia in the late

1800s. In 1986-87 I constructed my first home a fourby-

two double brick home. This was a very long but

very rewarding undertaking being an owner-builder,

but something I would not undertake again. There must

be something to the DNA memory theory because I do

get satisfaction from construction of homes with project

home builders. Maybe as my grandfather got satisfaction

from his building projects I have this desire to

fulfil through project home builders.
