Joseph Connole

Joseph Connole is from Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. History has always been a fascination to Joseph. From a young age, history has always been one of his favorite subjects in school and it has carried over into his adult life. An author of two articles through Whispering Wind Magazine, Joseph has focused on American Indian participation in American wars. His first article, Why They Fought: American Indian Participation in the American Civil War was published in 2011 and is the inspiration for his first book The Civil War and the Subversion of American Indian Sovereignty. His second article, A Nation Whose Language You Will Not Understand: The Comanche Code Talkers of World War II was published in 2012.
