Tina Babcock has been a licensed Chaplain with numerous organizations, including 8 years with the Los Angeles Police Department. Her early work in a domestic violence shelter, and later as a social worker with seniors and disabled individuals, has given her a broad and very practical view of homeless issues. She worked with homeless community members in the heart of Los Angeles’ Skid Row for ten years. Babcock has traversed the U.S.A. assisting rescue ministries, served as an expert conference speaker on homelessness, domestic violence, and leadership development for recovery workers. Her academic training includes a PhD. In Religious Studies, Master’s level Clinical Supervisor Credential for Substance Abuse Treatment and Administration, and a B.A. in Psychology. Chaplain Babcock is currently C.E.O. of Restoration & Recovery Resources Group and an administrative Pastor of Abba’s House Foursquare Church in San Bernardino.
