Alphonso Garrett Jr.

Alphonso Garrett Jr., MS.Ed. wears many hats. He is a husband, father of two kiddos, military veteran, university administrator, balloon twister, owner of Please Don't Pop! LLC -a family entertainment business, and now children's book author. When he was young he did not enjoy reading for pleasure, so he made it his mission to see his son discover the joy of reading. Unable to find many books that related his son's experiences, he created the concept for his debut book, "Kenny Meets Carlos." This book follows an everyday kid and his special friend, who happens to know Spanish.
