Vern A. Westfall

Vern Arthur Westfall has lived a life defined by adventure, exploration, and reinvention. Born at the beginning of World War II, his childhood in the Arizona desert included Apache playmates, a pet tarantula, and captured German pilots as mentors.

A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and Miami University with a degree in philosophy, Vern's extraordinary career has taken him around the world. He has flown reconnaissance aircraft to the edge of space, experienced zero gravity during astronaut training missions, survived extreme conditions in the Arctic and the jungles of the Philippines, and earned multiple Air Medals for missions supporting the Vietnam War.

Beyond military service, Vern has taught in Korea, lived in Taiwan and Thailand, traveled extensively throughout Asia and Europe, worked in emerging AI systems, designed more than one hundred luxury homes as a self-taught architect, and raised his daughter as a single father.

Today, Vern channels his lifelong curiosity into writing. The author of eight books, he continues to explore new frontiers through research and writing on theoretical physics, cosmology, and the limitless adventures of the mind.
