About me:

M.A. Jewell started writing after a satisfying career as an operating room nurse. An avid romance reader for many years, she traded in her reading addiction for a pen to write in her favorite genre, romance. Now she can't stop. She has a penchant for jaguar shifters and modern-day cowboys, and her medical background shows up in her writing, as well.

An Omaha, NE native recently transplanted to Dallas, TX, she enjoys her own happily ever after with her biggest fan and supporter, her husband Jim. Their two sons have fledged and married lovely, competent women. And if you have an extra twenty minutes, go ahead and ask her about her three perfect grandchildren--soon to be four. Make that twenty-five minutes.

Personal update- My most recent project is the Aspen Gold Series. This group of stories are set in Spencer, Colorado--a growing tourist town catering to the wealthy and famous. I came to the series late but after listening to my critique partners craft this rich world, it was no surprise when the plot for Gorgeous Scars popped into my head.

But shifter fans, have no fear!

I've not lost my love of the paranormal. After my next Aspen Gold book, I plan to add to The Jaguar Queens series. This world was inspired by the Honduran Jaguar Princess legend, and the mythos lives on in these spicy stories set in South and Central America. This set of books is for those who like their romance jungle hot.
