Michael Salzman

Hi, I'm Mike Salzman, and if you grew up with Atari, ColecoVision, or Nintendo, then your childhood probably wasn't that different from mine. I enjoy writing about my unique personal history with video games, particularly retro consoles. I'm so enamored with the history of retro games I even named my son after the founder of Atari Nolan Bushnell.

Professionally I have invested more than twenty years in the video game industry and will likely still be in it many decades after I die.

In addition to writing books related to retro gaming, I've also programmed games (Desert Bus 2600), currently own a video game tabloid company (The Gaming Free Press) and I am constantly looking at new and unique gaming projects to involve myself in. Some of my wildly successful books include The Unauthorized Atari 2600 Sports Almanac, The Unauthorized Atari 2600 Arcade Companion Volume 1 and 2, The Unauthorized Atari 2600 Activision Companion, and Street Fighter Too: It's Ok To Have An Ego When You're This Good.
