Deborah E Pearson

Deborah found her love of Jane Austen’s work when she was 15 by watching the 1995 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice by Andrew Davies, Over the following years she not only read Miss Austen’s books multiple times but also read several fan fiction books, which led her to begin writing her own Jane Austen Fan Fiction in 2010 as she wished to have a Darcy that fitted the way she saw him. Deborah is an author, whose burning passion is to empower others through the written word.

Deborah has had her fair share of life challenges, but she faces life with a cheerful attitude and a determination to succeed. She is both a survivor and an overcomer, but she denies any hint that she is a victim. Life, she says, is what you make it and what you choose it will be. She is grateful for the challenges that she has faced in life as they have shaped her into the woman that she is today. Her zest for life is matched only by her thirst for knowledge, and no subject is too deep for her to consider or attempt to find an answer, even if there is no answer to be found.

Deborah left school in 1997 and trained as a Holistic Therapist in 1999 and has worked in a variety of jobs, ranging from cleaning work and Fast food to working for herself whether on the car boots sales or as a holistic therapist. Deborah tends to be obsessive about her work and spends the majority of her time writing or researching, but she also has multiple and varied hobbies which include Watercolour Painting, playing the piano, Violin and the flute. She loves to read and reads a broad spectrum of material ranging from Philosophy through to the latest fiction to come out. Deborah is a life-long Norwich City Football Club fan, and can often be found watching or following the latest match. She loves sewing and excels at Cross Stitch. However, if she is not writing the one thing that she loves more than anything else is to be out in nature and she will often spend several hours just walking around her favourite beauty spots, which she believes keeps her creativity flowing.
