David Meikle

David is a marketing consultant and a natural problem solver. Described as one of the world's leading thinkers in advertising and marketing operations, his first book "How to Buy A Gorilla" gained critical acclaim for adeptly reconciling conflicts between marketing, procurement, and agencies.

Described by one industry leader as gold dust, David's latest book, "Tuning Up," examines how balancing or tuning up responsibility and control in our working relationships can improve performance and reduce stress.

The HTBAG Company, David's consultancy business, has been delivering pitch management, process design, relationship management services, and training for clients in the UK and around the world.

Before founding his own business, David worked with two of the world’s leading advertising networks, Grey and Ogilvy & Mather. He served as Head of Country for Ogilvy Russia during the BRIC boom of the early 2000s, achieving 500% revenue growth in less than 4 years.

David resides in the UK in Oxfordshire with his wife, Olga; his son, Daniel; two whippets—Molly and Pip; and a couple of chickens.
