Staci Mauney

Staci Mauney is the author of the Echoes of Joy devotional series, which includes Echoes of Joy: 30 Days of Experiencing God's Grace, Echoes of Joy: A Daily Devotional for Christmas, Echoes of Joy: Growing Closer to God (available in ebook format only), and Echoes of Joy: A Devotional for Animal Lovers. Staci holds a Master of Education in Secondary Education from Cameron University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU), graduating summa cum laude. She grew up and spent most of her life in southwestern Oklahoma and enjoys traveling around the United States to visit family and see new sights.

She enjoys taking her sassy Yorkie, Lilly, for long walks in the park and fun rides in the car. She then turns their adventures into stories for her blog and devotionals. She is active in LifeChurch and serves on the board of her local senior nutrition site. She runs a professional writing and editing business, Prestige Prose, which can be found online at www.prestigeprose.com. She served as the 2019 Oklahoma Writers Federation, Inc., president and continues to serve as a board member.

As a writer, she writes creative nonfiction, short stories, and maintains a devotional blog, Echoes of Joy. Her works in progress include a cozy mystery and a variety of short stories. Her short stories have been published in Chicken Soup for the Shopper’s Soul; Owl Hootings, Vol. II; and Oklahoma: The Fountain of the Heartland.
