Atlas Schmidt

Atlas Schmidt, 22, is an indie author hailing from Missouri. He lives with his family and their three crazy animals: Aiza (dog), Sasha (cat), and Bumblebee (also cat [allegedly]).

Atlas has been writing stories since the age of ten, and has been drawing since he could hold a pencil. His writing style is influenced foremost by Eoin Colfer's "Artemis Fowl" series, Melanie Rawn's "Dragon Prince" series, and Maggie Stiefvater's "Raven Cycle" series. His first published work, Shades: The Dragon and the Fire, is the start of a six-book saga that will explore opposite realities, past, present, and future storylines, and explore how society changes its views of the world, life, and humanity.
