Mr. Michael John Sheehan

Michael John Sheehan was CEO and founder of a natural medications company that distributes European-made remedies to health care practitioners throughout the United States. Formerly a soccer player and long distance runner, he competed in eight marathons, including Boston in 1982. Sheehan retired in 2022.

His first novel, the inspirational baseball/love story Hard Stuff was written as a tribute to two childhood friends who died young. Sheehan's second work of fiction, The Chosen Few, is a coming-of-age story based loosely on his senior year at St. Joseph High School Seminary in Los Altos Hills, California, where he studied for the priesthood.

Sheehan grew up in Sonoma County, California, graduated with a bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University, and received a master's degree in science journalism from Boston University. He is currently working on a book of short stories.
