Caryn Thomas Mitchell

Caryn has lived in California, Florida, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. She is currently an accidental transplant to Atlanta, Georgia. She never planned to live in the south, but since she does she has developed a love of sweet tea to battle the heat, and hairspray to battle the humidity, while she explores the enchanting southern charm of her new home. Her favorite weather of all is thunderstorms, and Atlanta has provided her with some doozies. She does not miss snowy winters one little bit.

In her previous life she has raised two spectacular children (she may be a bit biased) run a bookstore, worked as a writer for an internationally known survey research firm, and worked in prison education, which was her favorite job of all next to this writing gig. After a fortuitous layoff she set about writing mystery novellas where she can wrangle bad guys, and plot the entirely legal and fictitious demise of those who have crossed her, all while never leaving the house or getting out of her pj's.
