Russ Daff

Russ Daff is an illustrator/writer based in Cambridge, UK. His love of drawing began as soon as he could hold a wax crayon and any wall became a canvas. Fed on a staple diet of Spiderman, Asterix and Tintin books drawing characters became an obsession. Add in the colossal impact of Star Wars in 1977 when he was five and the foundation was set for a career in the creative arts!

Fast forward to the mid 1980's and the ability to draw a good Garfield came in handy, it seemed cartooning was not only fun but a useful ice breaking tool.

After graduating from Falmouth School of Art in 1993 he spent 10 years in the computer games industry before embarking on a carreer as a freelance illustrator. As if this doesn't keep him busy enough he also loves to write and illustrate his own books, mainly for children. His love of good storytelling complimented by awesome artwork compels him to create fun, vibrant picture/comic books!
