Ralph Riccio

Ralph Riccio was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1939. He was a US Army Intelligence Officer for 20 years, and upon retiring from the army, worked for sixteen years as an intelligence analyst for the Department of Defense. He has spent a total of about nine years, at varying times, in Italy and is a native Italian speaker and speaks Spanish, French and German passably well. Ralph has travelled extensively throughout Europe while in the army and with DoD. He has long had an interest in military history and equipment and has written a number of books on Italian and Irish military topics. He has also written numerous articles for US, British and Italian magazines dealing with Italian ground forces equipment. He resides in a small rural community in Pennsylvania with his wife Charlene.
