James Smiley Wightman

A Daughter’s Redemption is the sequel to James Smiley Wightman's first novel, The Holy Kiss. In between the two novels, he published Buffalo Days, which dwells fictionally with his childhood and youth. He was graduated from Kent State University after a tour in the U.S. Marine Corps. Before writing The Holy Kiss, Wightman was an advertising copywriter and later headed an advertising agency. He counts stays in Buffalo, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Akron, Cleveland and Jersey City. He is married to artist Babs Reingold and now resides in Saint Petersburg, Florida, the city of one of his early memoir stories. Hd is currently working on the third narrative in the Stevie Sanchez series.
