Cynthia McElrea

I Cynthia McElrea (Cindy), have worked for many years as an RN at Northumberland Hills Hospital, VON, and Local Long Term Care Facilities.I have a lifelong interest in animals, writing and children. I have previously written short stories about dogs and horses. I live to write about whatever comes to mind at the moment. My most favorite places are in the saddle, in the woods and in the arms of the one I love.Although my interests are many; hiking, knitting, cooking, art, I love doing it all in the company of my four-legged friends.

Madison Brant is currently a grade two student at Northumberland Hills Public School. She loves her four-legged friends, especially her German Shepherd Kiera. She started her riding enjoyment with a special little pinto pony named Babe who will always be in her heart. Madison is a keen learner about all the different plants and animals with whom we share our world. She is passionate about caring for them properly and helping others do the same. The basis for the creation of Torey came from a turtle in need that was helped successfully by Madison.
