C. A. Wilkinson was born in Nottingham and combines her love of Cornwall with her fascination with dragons for her children's novels. Malcolm the Cross-Eyed dragon is the first in a series. She is currently working on the second novel in the series, which she is hoping to release later this year, with the third book to be released by the end of next year.
Having studied BA Creative and Professional Writing at the University of Nottingham, she will be going on to obtain her masters degree in the near future.
Alongside her own novels, she has worked closely with a publishing company to re-write illustrated fairy tale books and has had the opportunity to create a further 10 picture books with them. Her work also includes a few literary short stories for a charity organisation, which she is extremely proud to be a part of.
With a love of poetry, she is also aiming to publish a poetry activity book for children aged 7 years +, to encourage creativity and to support children's literacy and language skills.
