Lima Mtewa

Lima Mtewa was born in 1984, in Malawi. She came to the United States in 1997, when she was 12 years old. She became a single mother at the age of 18 to a son. AFTER ALCOHOL is her first book, which she wrote after beating alcohol addiction for which she struggled with for over 16 years. In her writing non fiction books she hopes in telling stories that will reach and touch people who are just like her. By doing so, she hopes in helping them learn something great about themselves that will change their lives through her. She loves nature and spending time with her son and other family members. She lives in Washington D.C.
