Nicole Orr

Nicole K. Orr is a Portland, Oregon based author. In the past, she's written children's nonfiction books for the Purple Toad Publishing House, but now she works as a full time remote TypeWell transcriber for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing. She's also in the process of taking her first fiction novel to publishing houses.

While Orr lives in Portland, Oregon, she has spent much of her time working on the road. Thus far, she's been to New Zealand, Canada, Indonesia, Japan, Iceland, and lived temporarily in Brisbane, Australia. When she's not traveling or writing, she's raising her six month old son as a single mother by choice.
