Carolyn Fox

Carolyn Fox started law school at forty-one, learned to ride a motorcycle at forty-six, and obtained her private pilot license at sixty. She has also worked as a private investigator and served as a grant writer to help fund nonprofit organizations. Fox has contributed articles to many publications, including Science of Mind, American Rider, the Enthusiast, Hog Tales, Thunder Press newspaper, and the national bestselling anthology Chocolate for a Woman's Soul.

Fox, at fifty-years old, packed her Harley-Davidson motorcycle with a sleeping bag and tent and rode through all fifty states, alone. Her book, Soul Rider: Facing Fear and Finding Redemption on a Harley, is about her three-month, 14,000-mile life-changing journey.

Her story describes the emotional and spiritual growth that results when courage trumps fear. Fox speaks professionally and as a community service. Today, she has ridden over 100,000-miles.

Fox was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1989 and successfully owned and operated two private law practices. Her primary focus—family law. Fox believes the emotional landmines of a divorce can be navigated and avoided through education and understanding.

Her book, 69 Explosive Divorce Tips: The Divorcees Guide for Surviving Emotional Landmines is written specifically for the one left behind, the divorcee.

Fox lives with her husband, Dennis Foster, in West Linn, Oregon.
