Adelle Stripe

Adelle Stripe's books include the Sunday Times bestseller, Ten Thousand Apologies, and Black Teeth and a Brilliant Smile, a fictionalised biography inspired by the playwright Andrea Dunbar. Her writing has been shortlisted for the Penderyn Music Book Prize, Gordon Burn Prize, and Portico Prize for Literature. Base Notes, her olfactory memoir, was published in 2025 and is a Telegraph book of the year. She lives in West Yorkshire, UK.
