Kelly Florez was born Kelly Ellis in Houston, Texas in 1960. She presented as an anomaly at a very early age due to her innate propensity to converse with what she would later call, the non-physical aspects of all manner of "species". After her first day of kindergarten she told her mother flatly, "It's not for me." This statement could be her personal anthem in relationship to traditional institutions of learning and pre-packaged systems of belief. Her attempts to live within these constraints led to bouts of deep depression and spiritual claustrophobia. These bouts served as an impetus for her to follow her own maverick heart and led to solitary sojourns in the desert for days and sometimes, months at a time. Her penchant for non-conformity also led her to engage in a variety of employment experiences. From friction welder operator to small business owner, from art model to barista and cashier at an adult sex paraphernalia shop she maintained one true vocation, that of a writer. She has authored seven books, “Chocolate & Physics, A Love Story by Me” (poetry and essays), “Dmitri and Baxter” (a childrens' book), “Elements of Existence, Book I” (non-fiction) with an accompanying revised dictionary of over 100 essential terms, “Life Design, A Metaphysical Guide to the Psyche” (non-fiction), “Awake, 100 Affirmations Along the Path of Awakening” and "Suicide Prevention For the Warrior; How to thrive in and survive the adolescent phase of life." (non-fiction) She also has a free audio-book of "Suicide Prevention For the Warrior" available on her youtube channel at professormaxtrinity. The audio-book is called, “Max Trinitys' Metaphysics for Suicide Prevention”. The book is available in paperback and is free on kindle for Prime members. She is beginning a new book called, “Reciprocity, A New Philosophy For the Age of A.I.” . Her focus is on Metaphysics, philosophy, relationship dynamics, mapping the psychological territory and poetry. Kelly Florez is also the author and discoverer of the Theory of Reciprocity and its' accompanying principles, definitions and mathematical formulae. She is adept at bringing clarity to non-linear perspectives and complex concepts of the mind, the soul and the most primary elements of existence. She is an autodidact and continues to converse with the non-physical aspects of being. The driving question behind all her research and writing is, ”How is all this happening?” meaning, “How is Life happening?”She is a mother, grandmother and visionary living in the south central desert of Utah in one of the most remote areas of the U.S. where she continues to explore, to research and to write.
