David Small

David Small has published six novels. ALMOST FAMOUS was a finalist for the National Book Award, first novel category; THE RIVER IN WINTER was selected by the New York Times as one of its Notable Books of the Year, as was his third book, ALONE. His most recent books, MORE OF EVERYTHING: A LOVE STORY; LIE TO ME; TAKE YOU DOWNTOWN, are published through Amazon under the imprint Tosca Books. A Guggenheim Fellow, Small was born in Gardiner, Maine, and raised in Maine, New York, and Pennsylvania. He lived in twenty-six houses, hotels, and boarding houses by the time he graduated high school, but always maintained a sort of anchorage at the home of his grandparents in Freeport, Maine. He currently lives outside of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, with his wife and several cats.
