Her first children’s book, 'Nana's Royal Mess’, is a book made especially for Kansas City Royals fans. It can be found in several stores in the Kansas City area, including the Kauffman Stadium gift shop, Barnes and Noble at the Plaza, KD’s Books in Lee’s Summit, The Best of KC at Crown Center. It can also be conveniently found online on Amazon and several other sites.

Her second children's book, 'I'm a Girl Hear my Roar', was created to empower girls, worldwide, by teaching them to use their voice. This book was inspired by Claressa Shields--the first female, U.S. Olympian boxer who rose to the top in a male dominated sport after being the victim of sexual abuse as a child. Sarah introduces 29 powerful and influential women throughout history who used their voices to stand up for equality. This book has a powerful and positive message that inspires the girls to carry the torch that has been passed to them by their foremothers. There is a desigated page in the back of the book where the girls are challenged to write their 'roars'.
