M J Woods

M.J. Woods lives in Central New York with her family and her Bernese Mountain Dog. She has worked in the legal field of a small town for 25 years and often draws from these experiences and re-imagines them to get her characters into trouble while they find love.

Her first novel "Balance" (Book One of The Amped Series Trilogy) garnered glowing reviews from fans as well as Foreword Clarion and Readers' Favorite. In 2018, "Balance" was awarded a Silver Medal in the Readers' Favorite international contest (Romance-Suspense Category) and also earned an Indie B.R.A.G. Medallion.
