Adrian J. Smith:

Is a self confessed book and movie geek and is the author of the Extinction NZ series - The Nameless series and The Silent Wars series.

Fascinated by all things post apocalyptic since reading The Chrysalids and viewing the films, The Quiet Earth and Mad Max 2 - The Road Warrior, he always wanted to write but adventure called first. Adrian spent ten years travelling the world before settling back in his native New Zealand.

A keen hiker he can often be found wandering the mountains that surround his home city of Hamilton. His other hobbies include cycling, camping, learning Dutch and of course reading.
