John Frederick Hendershot

John F. Hendershot is an entrepreneur, business advisor, and author who has spent his career helping business owners build stronger, more resilient organizations. His work focuses on leadership, operational excellence, business readiness, and creating companies that can succeed beyond their founders.

Born on May 22, 1977, in Washington Court House, Ohio, John spent most of his childhood there before his family relocated to West Michigan during his high school years. Those experiences shaped his appreciation for hard work, small businesses, and the people who build them.

John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public History from Western Michigan University before completing both a Master of Science in Management and a Master of Business Administration at Cornerstone University. His education, combined with years of hands-on leadership experience, has informed his practical approach to business growth and organizational development.

Today, John lives in Holland, Michigan, where he continues to work with business owners, write, and develop ideas that help leaders build organizations capable of lasting for generations.
