Eric Johannsen

Eric Johannsen has been a storyteller since discovering role-playing games at the age of twelve. For decades, he’s served as the game master for sprawling science fiction and fantasy campaigns, shaping immersive worlds and unforgettable characters.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of California San Diego, where he developed a deep appreciation for the laws of the universe—and a burning curiosity about what those laws can't (yet) explain. A commercial pilot and long-time resident of Europe, he also volunteers at the Aquarium of the Pacific and works in AI-focused software development by day, writing by night with unwavering passion.

He lives in California with his wife Rose, raising triplets and dreaming up stories that stretch the boundaries of imagination.
