Ellis Goodson

Ellis Goodson was born in 1953 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He went to school in Oklahoma City. Goodson spent class time doodling instead of taking notes, shaping his inevitable college career choice into commercial art. In 1985 Ellis came west to California, making a number of friends while sharing figure model costs for life drawing skills get togethers. These friends all went on to success as comic artists, animators, fine artists and actors. Goodson's own focus became Video Game art with all that discipline involves. He has done animation, concepts, storyboards, character design, level design and 3D modeling. Ellis plans to now emphasize storytelling in comics and short story format, something neglected during his illustration career. Ellis Goodson's earliest ambition was to be a comic book artist.
