Lawrence Buentello

Lawrence Buentello is a prolific short story writer, a novelist, and a poet. He is a past winner of the Short Story America Prize. His fiction has also been nominated for the Edgar Award and the Pushcart Prize. Buentello has published fiction in multiple genres, including literary fiction, science fiction, fantasy, mystery, humor, and the supernatural.

Buentello holds a BA in Literature from the University of the Incarnate Word and has 25 years of experience working in academic libraries. He lives with his wife in his hometown of San Antonio, Texas.
