Maureen Moss

Maureen Moss grew up in Guernsey, Channel Islands, and after graduating with honours from Reading University, she set up Personnel Appointments recruitment agency, married and had three children. She went on to teach modern languages at both the Ladies’ and Elizabeth Colleges before being appointed as Head of Modern Languages at St. Sampson’s Secondary school.

After her divorce, she sold the family home and embarked on the family adventure that only served to reinforce her wanderlust before becoming an adventure travel tour leader, a job that took her all around the world.

Maureen now lives by the beach in Spain, from where she hosts her website www.tourguidecourse.com, offering a course leading to a qualification for other would-be tour leaders.

Characteristically embodying the title 'More to Life', Maureen is already planning a follow-up book as well as developing her tour guide website, teaching English and Spanish to locals and incomers, learning Russian and Chinese. Truly, there is much 'More to Life' for Maureen Moss.
