Laura Marshall

Laura Marshall is a drama teacher living in North London. She has been lucky enough to set foot on six continents, visiting many countries including Egypt, New Zealand, Sweden, Iceland, Raratonga, Thailand and Mexico. From about the age of ten, she had the ambition of being a writer, and wrote poetry and plays, before finally starting Harkhuf the First Explorer, her first work of fiction. As well as teaching and writing, Laura has also worked as a shop assistant, researcher, journalist, receptionist, court clerk, actor, director and producer.
