Don Abma

Don Abma lives on the shores of Lake Ontario in the small town of Oakville with his wife and best friend Sandy. Together they have five children and two grandchildren. Don has spent much of his life in the real estate business and began writing in the early '90's. His first published work came out in March of 2017 entitled "For Luna" and is the first in a series of books featuring his main character Chase Adams. Don is currently working on the second book in the series and hopes to have it available in the fall.

"I love the process of writing and the escape into a story that writing provides me," says Don. "My favorite part of the process is the creation of the bad guy! My villains are very dark characters and I love creating them," adds Don. "Unfortunately, in my books bad things happen to good people. But I think that is true in the real world as well."

Don loves the game of golf and enjoys travelling the globe with his wife Sandy. As a proud Canadian he also finds time to referee hockey during the winter months. When they are not in Oakville or travelling Don and Sandy spend quiet time on the shores of Georgian Bay in the Town of the Blue Mountains where they have a summer home.
