J.E. Dumas is a single mother of four wonderful children nearing adulthood. She spends her days working within the healthcare industry and her evenings/weekends shuttling the kids from point A to point B while throwing a load of never ending laundry in along the way.
In her freetime, she truly finds herself when sitting down to create. Writing above all else is her passion, but she is also a devoted crocheter, knitter, and baker.
Currently located in the midwest, J.E. has found her true sense of belonging for the first time in her 30+ years of life. A survivor of domestic violence, sexual assault, and an alcoholism fueled family, J.E. strives to help even one person with the sharing of her story, the openness to any questions one may have, and the use of the tiny but mighty platform she is creating with her works.
One of J.E.’s favorite things is getting lost in a book; some of her favorite genres are fantasy, romance, horror and mystery. She is an avid baker (though she loves cookie dough the most) and she enjoys knitting and coloring. Her most joyful times are spent with her friends and family; simple backyard barbecues or board games, movies—at home or the theater; even better the drive-in, or best of all, enjoying the outdoors together—camping, hiking and bike riding.
