Ruby Hoy

These poems cover a lifetime of writing, though it could be argued the time would have been better spent fishing, or perhaps planting that apple orchard. I was born in northern Michigan, and the Great Lakes will always be the landscape of my heart. My home is now between the Blue Ridge and the Allegheny mountains, where I work promoting Irish traditional music and musicians.

I have written three books, Luminous, Scatter the Light, and the soon to be published Going Along… Conversations with Coyote. Coyote does not appear in Scatter the Light, much to his chagrin, but he does feature prominently in the others.
