Robert Matthews

Robert Matthews was born and raised in Ealing, West London. For almost twenty years he was a singer in various semi professional bands. He also worked as a sales rep for Yellow Pages. At age 36 he took a degree in psychology and studied classical music. At university he got involved with The Society for Psychical Research in London and began working on a Phd, though this was disrupted by the unexpected death of his tutor.

He now lives and works in S.E. London where he runs courses on quit smoking and also works as a hypnotherapist. Over a twenty year span, he has helped thousands of people, including many well known celebrities, give up smoking. Robert worked for several years in Harley Street, and for a while worked as a part time psychology lecturer at The University of West London.

In the late 1990s he ran his own dance classes and in 2012 took up acting and became part of a sketch comedy group. He currently writes music, mainly for musical theatre, and has co-written two musicals.
