Englishman living in Rome since 1976. Author of the Flavian trilogy (Corbulo's Daughter, The Prophet of Pompeii and Gods of Blood and Water). The books are set in the first century CE, and trace the rise and fall of the Flavian dynasty, remaining faithful to the known historical facts.
